CHRISTMAS GREEETINGS

Wishing each and everyone a very happy Christmas and a Prosperous New Year from En- niscrone Tourist Informatio­n Office and Craft Shop. Tourist Office will be closed from December 21 to January 7, 2019.

SYMPATHY

Sympathy is extended to Pádraig Cawley Cloona, Enniscrone, Co Sligo on the death of his wife Margaret (Peggy) sympathy also to her son PJ daughters Maureen and Barbara, in laws grandchild­ren, family members, neighbors and friends. Removal took place from McGowan’s funeral home on Friday, December 14, to the Church of Our Lady assumed in to Heaven Enniscrone. Burial took place after 11 a.m. Mass Saturday to St Patrick’s Cemetery Kilglass. May she rest in peace.

WALKING CLUB

The Walk December 29 is Nephin, level is hard, terrain is open mountain and length 4-5 hours. All walks subject to Change pending weather conditions and all walks start from Enniscrone Tourist Office at 9.30 a.m. unless stated otherwise.

SOCIAL BRIDGE CLUB

Bridge takes place at the Diamond Coast Hotel every Wednesday night commencing at 7.30 p.m. We wish all our members a very happy Christmas, and all the best for the New Year. The club will resume play on January 9, 2019.

HOSPICE THANKS

Mayo Roscommon Hospice would like to thank all the volunteers who helped with their Christmas appeal in the various towns and also for their kind assistance over the past year with other fundraisin­g events. Their willingnes­s to help our cause is much appreciate­d. Thanks also to all who organised and participat­ed in various fundraisin­g event over the year. Rest assured all funds raised will go to supporting local hospice palliative care services. The Foundation wishes them and their families a very happy Christmas and look forward to their continued support.

FUN BEAT THE INTRO QUIZ

This takes place every Friday night in Sheridan’s bar Kilglass at 9 p.m. Entry fee is only €2 with the proceeds going to Kilglass Community Council Cardens Developmen­t Fund Kilglass. On January 18 Quiz night is for two former member’s Eddie O’Dowd and Gerry Gilroy. All proceeds will go to the families chosen charities. Billy Varley will be the Quiz Master on the night. Please come out and support.

BLOTTO DRAW

No winner of the €3,800 jackpot when draw took place in Ocean Sands Hotel Enniscrone, Saturday night last. Numbers drawn were 14, 37 and 38. €25 winners were Ciarian Maguire, Johnny Kilcullen, Mick Golden and Ollie Carroll. Jackpot for next draw on Saturday, December 15, is €4,000 and will be held in Gilroy’s Bar.
