1 TRADROQUE
Following the success of the ‘Tradroque’ concert produced at the theatre in April, the Hawk’s Well Theatre is delighted to have the opportunity to stage this show again this December. Tradroque is an interesting musical enquiry into the relationship between the Irish traditional and baroque music traditions which will be explored on Friday 28th of December at 8pm. Tickets are €18 with a special Go See rate of €9 for under 18s. All tickets will have a €1 development fee surcharge.
2 ODDSOCKS SINGLE LAUNCH
Oddsocks will launch their new single ‘Saying Things’ this Wednesday, St. Stephen’s Night, at Anderson’s Bar & Grill. Guests and DJs will also be playing on the night, from 10pm until late.
3 THE FUREYS - 40TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT
Legends of Irish music & song, The Fureys, renowned for their hit songs ‘I will love you’, ‘When you were sweet 16’, ‘The Green fields of France’, ‘The old man’, ‘Red rose café’, ‘From Clare to here’, ‘Her father didn’t like me anyway’, ‘Leaving Nancy’, ‘Steal away’ etc return to the Hawk’s Well Theatre on Saturday 29th December in this, their fortieth anniversary year. A Fureys concert is always a night to remember!
4 NIRVANA UNPLUGGED
In Bloom presents NIRVANA MTV UNPLUGGED - live in The Dunes Friday 28th of December. In Bloom will be performing a very special night of the entire MTV Nirvana Unplugged this Christmas. There will be special guests and a couple of surprises on the night! Kicking off from 9.30pm, this one is not to be missed.
5 REELING IN THE SHOWBAND YEARS
The Ronan Collins Showband Show ‘Reeling In the Showband Years’ has been a smash hit for the past 9 years, and it returns again on Tuesday 1 of January 2019, to celebrate it’s amazing 10Tth anniversary tour. Tickets cost €30.
6 FRANCES BLACK & KIERAN GOSS
Since the days of their partnership, both Frances and Kieran have enjoyed huge international success in their respective solo careers, but it was the inspired pairing of these two unique talents as a duo in the early nineties that first caught the imagination of the Irish public. The duo come to the Coleman Music Centre Gurteen on Sunday, December 30th.
7 TURKEY TROT
North Sligo Agricultural Show’s annual Turkey Trot takes place on Sunday 30th of December. Starting at 1pm at Grange Sports Complex. Fun for all the family.

8 TIRERAGH CCE CHRISTMAS CONCERT
Tireragh CCE host their annual Christmas concert this Friday, December 28th in Dromore West Community Centre. Admission is €10 for adults. There will be refreshments and a raffle.
9 5K RUN/WALK
South Sligo Athletic Club’s annual 5k run/walk takes place this Wednesday at 12pm in Tubbercurry. Registration takes place at St. Brigid’s Hall. Proceeds go to SHOUT. Donations are more than welcome on the day.
10 ST. STEPHEN’S DAY SWIM
The annual charity swim at Raughley takes place on Wednesday, St. Stephen’s Day in aid of the North West Hospice Sligo and NWPF Fundraising Group (North West Parents and Friends Association). Your donations are appreciated.
