Visit from Old Trafford Stadium Announcer
THERE was a special visit from the Old Trafford Stadium Announcer to Gurteen last week which was organised by the Sligo Branch of the Manchester United Supporters Club.
Alan Keegan was in The Crossbar in Gurteen watching the club take on Newcastle on Wednesday night in the Premier League.
With the club seeing a recent turnaround since caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær took over, spirits were high from the supporters watching the 2-0 win.
Martin Feeney from the Sligo Branch of the Manchester United Supporters Club said there was a large number of branch were in attendance for Alan’s visit.
He said Alan was very approachable and entertaining. “Our thanks to branch member and owner of The Crossbar Adrian Tansey for making the visit possible,” Martin added.
