YOGA CLASSES

Yoga classes will commence in the Morrison Teach Cheoil, Riverstown on Wednesday, January 9. Beginner class is from 6.30 p.m. to 7.45 p.m. and improver class is from 8 p.m. to 9.15 p.m. Call 086 8280429 for further enquiries.

COMMUNITY SAFETY

The Sligo County Joint Policing Committee wishes to inform members of the public that a public meeting will be held on Thursday, January 10, in Sligo Park Hotel at 7.30 p.m. Members of the community are encouraged to attend the meeting and support the development of consultation with our Garda Síochána in the interest of safety of our community. Everyone welcome to attend.

MUSIC LESSONS

Irish Music Classes, including fiddle, flute, whistle and banjo, with Micheál Hurley will resume on Friday, January 11, in the Morrison Cottage. Beginners’ classes will start at 6.30 p.m. followed by intermediate and advanced classes at 7.15 p.m. New pupils are always welcome. For more information call 086 6036243.

RAMBLING HOUSE

Riverstown Comhaltas will be holding a Rambling House in the Morrison Teach Ceoil on Saturday, January 12, at 9.30 p.m. Musicians, singers and Dancers are all welcome. Refreshments will be served. Admission €10. Enquiries to Pádraig Kerins 087 6707329.

BRIDGE FOR BEGINNERS

Bridge classes for beginners will commence in the Morrison Teach Cheoil on Tuesday, January 15, from 8.10 p.m.

SOCIAL DANCING

Social dancing classes are back with A & C Country Jive in the Morrison Cottage, Riverstown starting on Sunday, February 10, at 7.30 p.m. All ages welcome, no partner required. Contact 086 3083416 for more information.
