Concepts of mood & emotion explored through storytelling
The start of 2019 seen a unique edition of the First Fortnight festival as it secured the right to host Europe’s Mental Health festival here in Ireland.
Their presentation of this festival showcases the vibrancy and diversity of modern Ireland throughout the numerous events, with an emphasis on the European community. As such, EDIC Sligo, based in Sligo Central Library, became involved with this nationwide event and ran three storytelling workshops in Ballymote, Tub- bercurry and Central Libraries. The facilitator was ‘Stressed Out Steve’ who explored the concepts of mood and emotion through storytelling and crafts.
All participants, and their parents, really enjoyed the workshops which ran over two consecutive days.
