THERE was a special medal presentati­on in the Sligo Southern Hotel on Saturday as Sligo’s U16 Fr Manning Cup winners were given their medals.

The side which is managed by Michael Duffy was victorious in the Fr Manning Cup final after they defeated Wicklow in the decider.

They were presented with their medals on Saturday at the event. Jimmy Smith is Assistant Manager of the team along with Selectors Liam Óg Gormley, Kealan Watters and Glen Monaghan.
