Discussion panel to encourage women in politics

THE Glasshouse Hotel is the location for a discussion event hosted by Women in Election encouraging more women to enter politics.

The talk, on February 28th includes MEP Marian Harkin, Tara Farrell, Deputy CEO of the Longford Women’s Link, and thejournal.ie reporter Orla Ryan as chair. More guests will be announced. It is part of the Communicating Europe series, the first of which took place in Dublin on December 3rd.

The event begins at 6pm in the Glasshouse Hotel with a networking session. It is ideal for women in Sligo and surrounding regions who want to meet like-minded women to discuss politics – local, national and European.
