COOLANEY MULLINA- BREENA

COOLANEY Mullinbreena GAA Club lost one of its greatest servants recently with the passing of Ollie Wynne.

OLLIE worked tirelessly for the club when there was little glory to be found.

HE served as a selector on various teams, and was our club’s county board delegate for a period of time. WHEN there was a job to be done Ollie was always available to help, whether it was lining the pitch or supporting the club in any way he could,he was a stalwart of the club.

OLLIE was remembered at the last club meeting with a minute silence. May he rest in peace.

THE Club would like to extend sympathy to the family of Anthony Wilkinson (formally of Carrowmore) on his recent death. Anthony was the brother of our former club player and chairman Benny Wilkinson. May he rest in peace. THANKS to Sligo manger Paul Taylor who last week presented winners medals to our victorious under 21 B championship winners and minor B shield winners at a function in St Nathys Hall. Paul had some great advise and encouragement for our young players.
