U17 Division 2 League Final SLIGO U17s played out a dramatic league final last Saturday in Ballina.

HAVING topped the table, Westport provided the opposition for the Sligo side, having won all their league games. Sligo were well up for the challenge and the final result of the clash 26 – 26, means that the two sides will have to reply to see who takes the title of Connacht U17 Division 2 League Winner.

SKILL ZONE RUGBY CAMP Connacht Rugby will be running a rugby camp in Ballymote Com- munity Park on Thursday 21st February for all players aged 6 – 14 years.

THIS rugby camp is open to all, no previous rugby experience necessary. The camp will run from 9.15a.m. to 1p.m. and costs €25 p.p.

SLIGO Man Lifts Dalriada Cup for Ireland Club XV Although the Ireland V Scotland Club XV game finished 19 - 19 at Energia Park, Ireland’s efforts in securing a 23 - 9 victory in Scotland the previous Friday, meant they finished as 14point aggregate winners over the two games, winning back the Dalriada Cup for the first time in five years and it was Sligo man Niall Kenneally who captained the Clubs team to victory. CURRENT captain of Cork Con and having formerly played with Summerhill College and Sligo RFC, Niall is the first Sligo man to captain an Irish rugby team.
