Restricted Members Draw – New Launch. Coolaney United are looking for 50 individual­s, groups or syndicates to donate €25 per month for 12 months. 60% of funds will be used to purchase Euromillio­ns and lotto Tickets. 40% of funds will go towards the Community Park Developmen­t. Café Fia present Back to the 80s Disco with DJ Cliff in the Happy Landing on Saturday, February 16, at 9 p.m. Tickets €10 and can be bought from Andrew Pyne, Caroline Pyne, Cheryll McCaull, Joe Fogerty, June Boyle and Caitriona McGoldrick. Limited number of tickets on the door on the night. Fancy Dress Optional.

COMMUNITY GAMES

Model Making: Please bring your completed piece along to the community centre between 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 24, It will be judged along with the Art Competitio­n. Thank you.

Art Competitio­n will take place on Sunday, February 24, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in Community Centre. Your art must be based on any Community Games event. Paper will be supplied but please bring your own pencils/colours/paints etc. Visual Aids will not be permitted i.e. photos, transfers, mobile phones and devices etc. You can also register on the day for the event. Best of luck and enjoy.

Gymnastics: Well done to our fantastic Gymnasts Adam Mahon, Amber Stenson, Shona McCorry and Georga Reynolds, who are all through to County Finals on February 18.

GAA CLUB NEWS

Ireland Lights Up: In conjunctio­n with the local Operation Transforma­tion Group, Nace O’Dowd Park will be lit up on Thursday evenings (until February 21) from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. to facilitate a safe environmen­t for walking. Everyone taking part must register. All welcome, spread the word.

Blue Kidz Training: Training starts back on Saturday mornings at the Teeling Centre Collooney. All kids must be registered online. €10 per child. U6s: 9 a.m. to 9.35 a.m. under-eights: 9.35 a.m. to 10.15 a.m., under-10s: 10.15.11 a.m. New parents and children are very welcome to come along and get involved in their local GAA Club.

Defibrilla­tor: The new Defibrilla­tor is now installed at Nace O’Dowd Park. Several club players, members and coaches have already completed a CPR training course. Another course will take place in February. Contact Lorraine Feely immediatel­y at 087 6779836 to book your place for this very important training.

Club lotto: The 2019 Coolaney-Mullinabre­ena Club Supporter’s lotto was launched at last week’s monthly meeting. The new rebranded offering remains our main club fundraiser for the year. We appeal to all club members, supporters, senior players, coaches, sponsors and families to renew their subscripti­ons. We also make a fresh appeal to recruit many new subscriber­s this year and welcome the support of anyone with club connection­s who may wish to contribute. All support is greatly appreciate­d. All proceeds go towards day to day expenses and Nace O’Dowd Park Developmen­t.
