FELL Cloonacool Players will perform this years play entitled - I Do Not Like Thee Dr. Fell - A full length play by Irish playwright Bernard Farrell in Cloonacool Community Centre this coming weekend Friday 15th Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th February at 8 pm each night. This is a dark comedy that was an instant success at home and abroad for the Dublin born writer. During a group therapy session set in America six people gather in a locked sound proof room, with hope to better their lives and also to get more out of life as a direct result. But they get a lot more than they paid for

2 IN FOCUS: GALLERY TALKS

An informal discussion with Education Curator Marie Louise Blaney at The Model will focus on a different artwork from the Niland Collection each month. Today at 11.30am Blaney will discuss the work of Irish artist Mary Swanzy in the context of her cubist artwork on display.

3 AN INSTINCT FOR KINDNESS

In November 2010, Chris Larner accompanie­d his exwife Allyson to Dignitas in Switzerlan­d. He returned with an empty wheelchair and a story to tell. This award-winning, bitterswee­t one-man show explores circumstan­ces, morality and humanity of a woman driven to make the ultimate decision about her life. He brings this show to the Hawk’s Well tomorrow (Wednesday).

4 HOLLABACK BAND: NOTHING BUT NOUGHTIES

This Saturday evening the Hollaback Band will be playing at The Garavogue for the first time, for a throwback to the noughties party, these guys are awesome so don’t miss out. There is no cover charge and the gig kicks off around 10pm.

5 SONG CIRCLE: MICHELE FEENEY

Having spent 2018 in short residency at the theatre developing music, Michele Feeney is delighted to return with Song Circle where she will once again bring to life some of our most cherished songs from Irish singers and Ireland’s song writers. She plays at the Hawk’s Well this Thursday.

6 MACK FLEETWOOD

Ireland’s premium tribute to Fleetwood Mac come to Anderson’s Bar and Grill this Friday from 9pm. Their love of the material and musical powess shines through in every song. Doors are open at 9pm with the band due to hit the stage at 10pm.

7 BAGATELLE

Bagatelle return to Teach Murray Gurteen this Friday at 10pm. Bagatelle had several number one singles, platinum and gold album sales and have shared stages with musical icons such as Bob Marley, Van Morrison & George Michael to name a few. Tickets are available in many outlets locally.

8 LILLIES LATINO VALENTINES NIGHT

Celebrate Valentine’s night in Lillies with Latino night this Thursday. DJ Tony T will be spinning groovy world music styles, both classic and modern. Salsa, Mambo, Boogaloo, Afro Cuban, Afrobeat, Raggaton, Bachata, Brazil beats and a fusion of a lot more styles and remixes too.

9 FEBRUARY DANCE

Live music and dancing to TR Dallas takes place on Saturday 16th February at The Hilltop, Culleens. The gig is set to kick off at 9pm.

10 HACK ACCESS

The objective of #HackAccess­Sligo is to make the North West more inclusive to people of all abilities by hacking the access obstacles in the way.
