In it s l atest venture, following the success of Strictly Sligo in 2017 and A Celebration of Musical Theatre in 2018, Sligo Musical Societ y (SMS) is excited to team up with the renowned Sligo Academy of Music to bring the classic OKLAHOMA! to the Hawks Well stage. Last staged by the Societ y in 2001, and scooping no less than 3 AIMS (Association of Irish Musical Societies) Awards at the time, this show promises to entertain audiences of all ages with it s comedy, dancing, bright and colourful sets and costumes and memorable musical score, featuring such numbers as Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’, People Will Say We’re in Love, The Farmer and the Cowman and Oklahoma!
