CONCERT FOR YEMEN

A Concert for Yemen will be held in Kilmactigu­e Community Centre on Saturday night 23rd February, starting at 8.15pm. The proceeds of the concert will go to Doctors without Borders/ Médecins Sans Frontières MSF who work in Yemen despite the fact that a civil war is raging for the last five years. There are so many deaths from cholera and starvation as well as from the war. Please attend if you can. Mai Kennedy is involved in organising this concert and her sister Evelyn worked in Yemen for several years. The talent on the night is homegrown (for the most part).

IRISH ORAL REVISION COURSE

There will be a Leaving Cert Irish Oral Revision Course on Saturday 23rd March 10am-1.30pm in Banada. Junior and Leaving cert Irish courses will be from 22nd-26th July and 29th July-2nd August in Banada, contact Siobhán on 0874510572.

Drummartin Indoor Country Market (9km from Tubbercurr­y out on the Ballina Rd besides Joe Dan’s Pub) from 10.30am – 12.30pm every Saturday.
