TABLE QUIZ

The annual table quiz hosted by Castledarg­an Ladies Golf Club will be held on Friday, February 22, at 8.30 p.m. in Castledarg­an Hotel. This year the table quiz fundraiser is in associatio­n with ‘Friends of Aengus, Bring Him Home’ to help Aengus Lyons return and live at home. €40 per table of four. Everyone welcome. Sligo Folk Park are organising a Ready, Steady, Cook, fundraiser with Chef John Kelly, from the Riverbank Restaurant and Chef Sham from the Cottage, Jamestown in Castledarg­an Hotel on Thursday, March 21, at 8 p.m. The two chefs will be assisted by Surprise Guests. Doors open at 7.15 p.m. and MC for the night will be Paul Quinn of Virgin Media TV Local food and crafts exhibits on the night. Admission €10. Any support would be appreciate­d.
