CASTLE DARGAN
THE Petstop 9 hole Open Winter league will continue in Castle Dargan this weekend.
The format is individual stableford with the best five scores to count for each player. By the end of February, the qualifiers will be split in to a seeded draw for the matchplay stage. Cost of entry is €20 per member and €50 for visitors.
Niall McLoughlin returned the best score over the weekend before Christmas, with 21 points for his 9 holes. He was followed closely home by Sean Tailly with 20 points.
Joe Morris is leading the overall winter league with 87 points for his best 5 rounds. Sean Creavan and Krzystof Drazkowiak are following closely in second and third place.

FRIDAY saw our Weekly Mixed Open S/F Competition and the winners were as follows:

Sunday was our Strandhill Lodge & Suites Winter League penultimate qualifying round. The Front Nine Prize Winning Team were Pat Togher, Pat Hickey & Camillus Conboy. The Back Nine Prize Winning Team were Thomas Lee, Rory O’Connor & Pat Lee. We would like to congratulate all the winners.
