Narendra Sharma is new Executive Head Chef at Clayton Sligo Ireland
BORN in Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh), Narendra Sharma has always been interested towards a career in the culinary field. Narendra received a Diploma from “the Institute of Hotel Management in Applied Nutrition and Catering Technology affiliated by IHM Pusa, New Delhi India
Narendra started his culinary journey in the Hotel Amer Palace in Bhopal India in 1998, followed by the Oberoi group of hotels & Resorts (Five Star Luxury Hotels), Trident Agra, pre-opening hotel The Oberoi Udaivilas, The Oberoi Rajvilas, Six Senses Hotels resorts & spa, Soneva Gili resort and Spa in republic of Maldives. Narendra then worked for French fine dining stand alone restaurant called “La Madeleine” in Chennai followed by the “Al Bustan Palace Intercontinental Muscat (Oman) after spending some time in Oman he re-joined the Oberoi Group of Hotels and resorts in Trident Hilton Bhubaneswar (Orissa).
In March 2013 he joined “Ananda in the Himalayas” which is a world No. 1 Destination Spa, used to deal with HEALTHY FOOD CONCEPTS in terms of weight loss programs like detox, de stress and insomnia. Awards include

In June 2016 Narendra came to Ireland and worked in The Landmark Hotel Carrick on Shannon where he was Awarded By” Irish Restaurant Awards 2017” Best Restaurant in Leitrim. He has also worked in the Salthill Hotel Galway, Galway Bay Hotel and Clayton Whites Wexford.
Awarded twice with best restaurant “three sixty” by Times food Award, Narendra has also worked with Documentary film “From Birmingham to Bombay” by Food Archeologist Alan Coxon, which was screened on the History channel and recently transmitting on “Food Network UK
Narendra has also personally prepared food for Charles Prince, Oprah Winfrey and other celebrities.
