BOXING CLUB TOURNAMENT

Ballymote Boxing Club’s annual tournament was held on December 14 in the Lotus hall.

The club would like to thank everyone who attended the tournament, to all who helped out selling tickets, attending the door providing refreshmen­ts etc. with a special mention for the fantastic performanc­e from all the boxers on the night. Special word of thanks to the local businesses for donating prizes for the raffle.

Proceeds from the raffle were divided between North West Hospice and Ballymote Community Nursing Home Patient Comfort Fund, cheques of €250 were presented by the club to both charities.

LOTTO

There was no winner of the Ballymote lotto jackpot on January 18 Numbers drawn were 9, 10, 12 and 19. There were two match-three winners, names of winners displayed locally.

The jackpot now stands at €12,200. The next draw will take place in Tighe’s Old Stand on

Saturday, February 1, Tickets €2 each, three tickets €5. Thank you for your continued support.

ANGLING CLUB AGM

Ballymote and District Angling Club AGM will be held Friday, January 31, in the Pastoral Centre Ballymote at 8 p.m. All members welcome, new and old.
