We offer our sincere condolence­s to the family and friends of Paula Quinn Cloonshanb­ally, Brian Morrisroe Killavulle­n, Mallow, Co. Cork formerly of Templevann­y and Christophe­r McConnon who died in Boston USA. (nephew of Margaret Breheny Cloonagh).

KEASH CHURCH ROOF RESTORATIO­N FUND.

Approximat­ely €30,000 has been collected to date. Thank you sincerely to everyone that has contribute­d.

Your generosity is sincerely appreciate­d. Thank you to Eastern Harps, who have facilitate­d most of the committee fundraisin­g meetings, with the use of their clubhouse.

The kindness shown within our community and outside has been truly astonishin­g to date. A further distance to travel but with the continued goodwill of the people, this journey will be completed.

Next meeting is this Tuesday, January 28, at 8 p.m. in the Whitehall Keash. Everyone is welcome.

PILATES CLASSES

Pilates Classes continue in the White Hall Keash on Monday nights at 8 p.m. Culfadda Hall Discussion­s are ongoing as to what further use the hall in Culfadda should be put to, once the new works are completed. Anyone with thoughts are asked to come forward.

KEASH ACTIVE AGE CLUB

CLASP has launched the local active age club this January and they are hoping the local community will come and support this vital service in the community.

Everyone is encouraged to come along and try it out, shorten the winter and meet new friends in a warm community setting.

CULFADDA NS STUDENT COUNCIL

Culfadda NS student council are holding a clothes collection to raise funds for the school. Bags can be left into the school on Thursday and Friday, January 30, and 31, between 9.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.

COLEMAN CENTRE KIDS CINEMA CLUB

The Coleman Centre will screen the 2019 film Dumbo as part of our cinema club on Saturday next, January 25, at 2.30 p.m. in our theatre. Membership fee €4 and sweet bags are available for €2.50. For more details call 071 9182599.
