500 CATTLE on offer this week with prices and trade continuing to remain very strong for the time of year. Bullocks in particular were a flying trade this week with demand increasing especially for the forward stores. The heifer ring remain a strong trade also while the weanling rings have noticed increased farmer activity this week with prices improved by €20-€30 per head. The dry cow trade remains very strong with good demand also for the breeding stock on offer.
