IN NOVEMBER 2019 Sonas Nursing Home Ard na Greine’s Person in Charge, Mable George, and their Education and Standards Coordinator, Ken Hogan spoke at a very successful information meeting on increasing awareness of dementia research and services. They would like to continue from this success and are hosting a Social Tea Dance for those with Dementia Care and their Carers on Wednesday March 4 th 2020 from 3pm to 6pm. It is being co-hosted by Joe Queenan. The event is open to the public, people living with dementia, family carers and healthcare professionals. There will be some information available to anyone who has any questions. This is a free event with Country Music and food for all. It is sure to be a great evening.
