IN NOVEMBER 2019 Sonas Nursing Home Ard na Greine’s Person in Charge, Mable George, and their Education and Standards Coordinato­r, Ken Hogan spoke at a very successful informatio­n meeting on increasing awareness of dementia research and services. They would like to continue from this success and are hosting a Social Tea Dance for those with Dementia Care and their Carers on Wednesday March 4 th 2020 from 3pm to 6pm. It is being co-hosted by Joe Queenan. The event is open to the public, people living with dementia, family carers and healthcare profession­als. There will be some informatio­n available to anyone who has any questions. This is a free event with Country Music and food for all. It is sure to be a great evening.
