Local Enterprise Week opportunites
LOCAL Enterprise Week 2020 takes place from March 2nd6 th and there’s a programme of events being run in Sligo.
The Local Enterprise Office has a schedule of events planned including a host of training workshops, one to one clinics and keynote events, including a ‘LEAN for Business’ breakfast event, a ‘Work Smarter- Grow Faster’ digital productivity event in association with .ie Domain Registry, and a Trading Online Voucher information session explaining the financial supports available to help businesses trade online and case studies from businesses doing so successfully.
The week is an opportunity for small businesses and entrepreneurs to sample the range of supports that are on offer from their Local Enterprise Office related to a whole host of areas.
This will include financial supports, selling, networking, Brexit support, social media workshops, LEAN programmes and sessions dealing with how to make your business more sustainable.
John Reilly, Head of Enterprise, Sligo County Council said: “Local Enterprise Week is a chance for small businesses and for those possible future start-ups to see the full range of supports out there for them.
“No matter what their business challenge or sector the Local Enterprise Offices will be putting on events for everyone, be it LEAN workshops, pitch training, trading online, sales and marketing, mastering social media, or simply, how to start a business, then it will be covered.
“It is also a great chance to network and broaden your connections in business so use it to the advantage of your business, or business idea.”
Successful local entrepreneurs, such as ‘CHAMP Cloud’ Ltd are also lending support to Local Enterprise Week.
