Castlerea Mart Market Report

630 Cattle on offer with excellent demand for all classes of stock on offer. Bullocks and forward Store Heifers were improved by €20 - €30 per head, while the Weanling trade continues to rise with extra farmer activity evident around the ring this week. The Dry Cow trade remains very strong also with buyers active for both the Stores and Forward lots. The calf ring recorded and excellent clearance while Breeding stock are noticing improvement also.
