An appreciation night for Aoife McDonagh is to be held at Higgins Lounge Culfadda on February 27 at 8 p.m. With special guests Sandy Kelly, Paul Kelly, Carmel McLoughlin, Maureen O’Dowd, Mary Rose and Enda, Michael McDonald, Leanne Rowlette, Shauna McStravock, Ann O’Hagan and Michael Golden. No cover charge on the night.

MONSTER AUCTION

It is intented to hold a monster fundraising auction during the month of May in aid of the cost associated with restoration of the church Roof in Keash. More details to follow.

CLANN MACHUA DRAMA GROUP

Clann Machua Drama Group, Kiltimagh are presenting John B Keane’s classic ‘Sive’ in the Art Deco, Ballymote on Friday, February 21, at 8.30 p.m. Doors open 8 p.m. Tickets €10. Tickets can be purchased at the Foxes Den and at the Coach House Hotel. All proceeds go towards Keash Village Enhancement Ltd.

GRANT AWARDED

Keash Village Enhancement Ltd. have recently been awarded €15,200 under the Sports Capital Grant, to assist with the development of a Multi Use Games Area which will be located beside the playground. This will be our main project for 2020 and will require further fundraising to complete. We will be holding fundraisers throughout the year with the aim to proceed with this project in late 2020. We are very proud of our fantastic playground and we feel the development of a MUGA pitch will enhance the Community Park and ensure there are free facilities available to the youth of our area for the future. All your ideas, assistance and support with this will be kindly accepted and greatly appreciated.
