GAA CLUB NEWS

Our chairman, along with the organising committee and members of the O’Hora family were delighted to present cheques to representatives from both St Dymphna’s and St Nicholas’ special school on Friday last. A final total of €10,246 was raised from our charity game – ’A match for Jack’ and was divided between the schools. It will no doubt be of great benefit to both schools who do such wonderful work in the locality. The O’Hora family and the club would again like to thank all those who donated, helped out or supported in any way and made the event such a success. A special word of gratitude to the event’s main sponsor, Office Pro.

Castleconnor GAA has engaged with Croke Park and are currently working on developing a five-year and 10-year plan. Step one in this process is to canvas our members and friends for their opinions. Step one it to complete an online survey which can be found at the link https://www. surveymonkey.com/r/ZDYCDXT The survey will remain active for a number of weeks and will be followed by a public consultation meeting/discussion. We encourage everyone in the parish to take the survey and give us your opinion on what you would like from your club.
