We want to make sure no one is left out.

Business Sponsorship
The club has been promoting our many sponsors on social media over the last number of weeks and we hope that this small gesture is doing some good for those businesses.
Anyone who has been a supporter of the club is encouraged to contact us and we will work with you to put together a message for display which we will feature on our Facebook and Twitter pages, pinned to the top for 3 days free of charge. Any business out there that would like us to do this please contact me by email pro.castleconnor.sligo@gaa.ie or text/call on 087 2264372.
Underage Contests
Although there are no games for our youth members at the moment, Sligo GAA are busy sending out challenges to the kids via our club coaches with goodies up for grabs.
We strongly encourage parents to get your kids involved in these challenges.
They are good exercise, good for developing skills and might even give you some peace for an hour or two!
Well done to all the kids entering so far, some of the skills and effort on display has been outstanding.
Pieta House
Some great charity work is going on around the country presently to raise funds for Pieta
House, who had to cancel their annual Darkness into Light event.
Clubman and Inter County Referee Barry Judge took part in the National Referee run with many of his colleagues covering 810km.
Not to be outdone, the Sligo U16 development squad covered 200km across the county and the club was well represented by Cian Flynn, Darragh Flynn and Stephen Rogan.

Although we can’t play right now, our pitch committee is doing a super job keeping Quigabar in tip-top shape.
We had three participants Brian Duffy, Matthew Foley and John Paul Carden (coach), who took part in a relay recently within government guidelines to raise money for Pieta House.
Congratulations to all involved in such a worthy cause.
Enniscrone-Kilglass GAA Club have been awarded a development grant of €195,000 by Sligo Leader Partnership Company Ltd in order to enable the club to enhance its club facilities in Quigabar.
This is great news for the local community and all the supports of the club.
Well done to all the members, players and committee on this wonderful news.
Congratulations to Lauren Carden from out under-eights who recently won a Sligo jersey for her skills challenge.

Fun activities
Over the coming weeks we plan to organise some fun activities and competitions for our players and families and we will update you regularly through social media and our website. Keeping up skills
Please continue to encourage our younger members to practice their football and hurling skills.
The annual GAA Cúl Camp in Oxfield was scheduled for the week of July 13th – 17th.
It is now highly unlikely that this will take place and we await clarity from the GAA on the possible re-scheduling of Cúl Camps at a later date this year.
Support local
We continue to encourage our members to support, in any way possible, all of our sponsors and all local businesses in these uncertain times.
