GAA NOTES

Dromahair GAA Club were lucky enough to have our application accepted earlier this year to be part of phase four of the GAA Healthy Club initative. We formed a Healthy Club team as part of this – made up of members from the Dromahair men’s club (Dromahair Gaa), the Dromahair ladies’ club (Naomh Pádraig Dromahair) and members of the local community coming together to promote health and wellbeing for all in Dromahair.

We hope you have been enjoying our regular posts and updates on the Dromahair GAA Facebook page to keep us all going during Covid 19 restrictions. As this is a combined community effort – the Dromahair Healthy

Club team have setup our own Facebook and Instagram pages which will be used for these updates going forward. We would apprecaite it if you could join and share in our efforts to support everyone in Dromahair community with their health and wellbeing.

Also the local GAA club on their Facebook say ‘Dromahair GAA has a long standing tradition for being there for their members and community during difficult times. It would be great if in these current times this would continue. We are encouraging people to reach out and visit those who are elderly and living on their own in our community to make sure they’re okay – they may need help getting shopping etc.

Let’s all do our bit, listen to the official recommendations and be there for each other.
