Congratulations to Brandon, leland and Nathan Nooney, who have spent the last week competing in the Kickboxing World Cup in Italy where they took home a bronze and two silver medals. What a fantastic achievement. Well done, lads.

COOLANEY ROCKFIELD TIDY TOWNS

The Tidy Towns committee are encouraging all residents of Coolaney and Rockfield to assist our efforts to regain the County Sligo Tidiest Town award in the 2024 SuperValu National Tidy Towns compeition by: Having colourful window boxes and flower pots; Weed free and clean foothpaths; Litter free streets; Exterior painting. All are asked to have as much work done as possible before June 15.

CREATIVE MINDFULNESS CLASS FOR CHILDREN

Is your child in need of some creative and calming time after a busy day? Join us for a fun and engaging Creative Mindfulness Class starting Monday, April 8, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and running for five weeks.at Coolaney Community Centre.

What to expect: Explore mindfulness through creative activities; Learn breathing exercises and relaxation techniques; Express emotions through art and crafts; Develop focus, creativity, and self-awareness; Foster a sense of calm and inner peace.

CADRA PROGRESSIVE 25 CARD GAME

The weekly Progressive 25 Card Game has commenced in Carraroe Community Centre each Tuesday night commencing at 9 p.m.

All card players welcome to come for an enjoyable night. Jackpot €150, Second prize €60 and raffle. We would appreciate if people would spread the word to all players. We will be available in Carraroe Community Centre at 8.30 p.m. and it would assist us if people could come early to facilitate registration to ensure we commence playing at 9 p.m.
