APRIL SOCIAL DANCES

The 2nd April Social Dance in the Community Centre Skreen will take place Saturday April 27th with Music by John Molloy. Dancing starts at 9pm and everyone welcome.

CONGRATULA­TIONS

Congratula­tions to local girl Lauren Cadden, Dromard on her recent winning of the Gold Medal in the 400metre Irish Universiti­es Track and Field Event at Queen’s University Belfast. This was a personal best for Lauren and she broke the Irish Universiti­es record which has been in place for over 20 years. Congratula­tions Lauren–so well done.

FIRST COMMUNION

ACTIVE RETIREMENT GROUP

The Skreen Dromard Community Care Active Retirement Group are holding Chair Yoga Classes in Skreen Health Centre, every Wednesday from 11am to 12 noon. Everyone welcome.

BELTRA COUNTRY MARKET

Beltra Country Market is now open every Saturdays from 10am–12.30pm with a variety of home produce and crafts available. A warm welcome is assured in the Tea Room. New members welcome–bakers, vegetable and flower growers and crafters. The group can be followed on their Facebook Page.

DEMENTIA INCLUSIVE SOCIAL CLUB

The Dementia Inclusive Social Club meet in the Skreen/ Dromard Community Centre on every second Wednesday from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.

It is a free club and is open to anyone looking for a calm, supportive environmen­t, for relaxed Tea and Chat. The Club is a social gathering where people can access informatio­n and support and meet other people as well as exchange ideas and experience­s. Everyone welcome. SKREEN GARDA BARRACKS

Skreen Barracks is now manned every Tuesday, with the opening hours of 10am to 1pm.

Bingo continues each Friday night in Dromore West Community Centre at 8.30pm. Everyone welcome.

TEMPLEBOY FORÓIGE CLUB

Templeboy Foróige Club meet every Friday evening in the Old School House Templeboy. 5th and 6th Class time is 7pm and for 12 year olds and over–First year students to 17 year old from 8pm. Everyone welcome.
