MAY SOCIAL DANCES

The second May Social Dance in the community centre Skreen will take place on Saturday, May 25, with music supplied by Steve Reilly. Dancing starts at 9 p.m. and everyone welcome.

SKREEN-DROMARD COMMUNITY CARE ACTIVE RETIREMENT GROUP

The Skreen-Dromard Community Care Active Retirement Group are holding Chair Yoga Classes in Skreen Health Centre, every Wednesday from 11 a.m. to midday. Everyone welcome.

DEMENTIA INCLUSIVE SOCIAL CLUB

The Dementia Inclusive Social Club meet in the Skreen-Dromard Community Centre on every second Wednesday from 2.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. The next meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 22, It is a free club and is open to anyone looking for a calm, supportive environmen­t, for relaxed tea and Chat. The club is a social gathering where people can access informatio­n and support and meet other people as well as exchange ideas and experience­s. Everyone welcome. BELTRA COUNTRY MARKET

Beltra Country Market is open every Saturday 10 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. with a great variety of locally produced breads, cakes and Jams. Gifts and crafts available for all occasions and flowers and plants for all gardeners. A warm welcome and chat is assured in the tea room. Thanks to all who generously supported the coffee morning last week for Mental Health Ireland.

Skreen Barracks is now manned every Tuesday, with the opening hours of 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

WINDMILL PLAYERS

The Windmill Players are back with Brian Friel’s ‘Dancing at Lughnasa’ at the Hawk’s Well Theatre, Sligo for two nights on Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15. The Windmill Players are kindly donating the Friday night’s proceeds to DOM’S WISH. Tickets are just €15 and can be purchased online. It promises to be a very entertaini­ng evening. Doors open at 7.30 p.m., show starts at 8 p.m.

ECUMENICAL BLESSING THANKS

Sincere thanks to to all who helped out at the Ecumenical Blessing of Farms and Tractors recently at the Skreen-Dromard Community Centre. A lovely day was had by all.

Templeboy Foróige Club meet every Friday evening in the Old School House Templeboy. Fifth and sixth class time is 7 p.m. and for 12-year-olds and over – first year students to 17-year-olds from 8 p.m. Everyone welcome.
