GRANDPARENTS DAY

Holy Family school Glenbrien will hold their Grandparents Day for all their students and Grand parents/Guardians on Friday next 16th November at 12 noon. Tea, coffee and refreshments will be served. All children are asked to bring in some buns cakes or biscuits for the event on Friday.

HANDBALL CLUB

There is a table quiz in Mac Cormacks lounge in Glenbrien on 16th November at 8.30pm. A table of four is €20, so why not come along and join us . By joining in you are helping to provide a sports facility for the young and not so young in Glenbrien. All proceeds are in aid of the Handball Club.

TEA OR COFFEE

A fundraiser will be held in Marea Heffernans house Clonmore on Saturday afternoon 24th November. Tea Coffee Scones, Brown bread, Home made jams, and cakes will be on offer, times will be printed next week..

OLD SCHOOL CENTRE

The official opening of the Old school centre will take place on Sunday 25th November with a parade from the Holy Family School to the new centre. It is hoped that all organisations and groups in the community will get involved, if you would like to take part please contact Billy Quirke on 087 4191476 for more information.

SPONSOR A CHAIR

The ‘sponsor a chair’ campaign continues for chairs for the centre. If you would like to make a donation towards the purchase of chairs please contact Aiden Quirke, Billy Quirke, or Mary Halligan. If you have a sponsorship card please return it to any member of the Old school Restoration group. Thank You.

CHURCH CONCERT

A concert to celebrate the opening of the new centre will take place in the Church on Friday 30th November with the All Male voice choir and some other artists, tickets are €10 each or two for €15

BALLYHUSKHARD SCOUTS

The 31st Wexford Beaver section will hold its investiture for our new Beavers on Wednesday next 14th November in the Holy Family School at 6.30pm. All parents are invited to come along and join in the ceremony. Tea and Refreshments will be served on the night.

All sections of the group will take part in the Orienteering day on Carrigbyrne Hill Wexford on Sunday next 18th November at 12.30pm. A bus will take all those wishing to go to the event and will leave the Holy Family school on Sunday morning at 11am. An information note will be given to all scouts at their meeting this week with all details information and cost.
