Senior Citizens Party Friday 23rd November. Concert in aid of Ballymurn Hall 7th December (rehearsals for the concert take place every Monday night from 7.30pm).

LADIES FOOTBALL

Crossabeg/Ballymurn Ladies Football Club AGM will be held on Sunday 25th November in Ballymurn Hall at 3pm all are welcome.

GAA NOTES

There was no winner of last week’s lotto Jackpot and no match three winner. Lucky dips were Steven Hodnett and Dolores Sheil. The numbers were 13, 15, 29, and 30. This week’s jackpot is €9,000.

Well done to the U21 footballer­s who beat Duffry Rovers in the county semi final recently. Congratula­tions and best of luck to Niall McDonald on his appointmen­t as a county U21 selector. Also well done and best of luck to Willie Cleary on his appointmen­t as county minor manager. Willie is currently teaching in Ballymurn N.S.

COME DINE WITH ME

“Come Dine With Me 2012” is back by popular demand. The committee of the Crossabeg/Ballymurn Community Centre is asking everyone from the community to get involved in this very enjoyable event, starting in November. More details to follow soon.

FUNDRAISIN­G NIGHT

There is a fundraisin­g night in aid of children's Christmas party for Ballymurn National school on 17th November at 9pm in The Anvil. Door prizes on the night and entertainm­ent provided.

EASISLIM

Easislim classes are starting in Ballymurn on Wednesday 14th November at 9.30am just after the school children are dropped off to school. All members welcome. Classes cost €8. No joining fees. Class is by Phyllis.

PLAY GROUP

We are pleased to announce the opening of a play group in Ballymurn hall. The play group will meet every Tuesday from 10am to 12.30pm. Everybody is welcome with babies, toddlers and pre school kids. There will be a small fee of €2.50 per family. As its the first play group in the hall any unwanted workable toys would be greatly appreciate­d.

The official opening is on Tuesday 20th November. To see how we are fixed for toys and interest in the play group we will meet on Tuesday 13th November from 10am to 11am where anyone can drop off donated toys thanks.
