MEDJUGORJE

An Informatio­n Meeting for all those booked for Medjugorje Pilgrimage will take place this Friday, September 15. at 7.30 p.m. in OLI.Community Hall.

RTÉ DOCUMENTAR­Y

Local lad Brian Scallan will feature in an hour long documentar­y entitled ‘Schizophre­nia – The Voices in My Head’ on RTÉ two, Tuesday next, September 19, at 10 p.m. Our Lady’s Island GAA. Club and some members will also feature in this programme.

COFFEE SHOP

The community centre Coffee Shop is now closed for the winter season, but will be open every Sunday after 11 a.m. Mass for tea, coffee and the chat. Thanks to all who supported it, and helped in so many ways over recent weeks. Split-the-pot draw will also take place there on Sunday morning.

MANAGING STRESS

‘Managing Your Own Stress’ Course takes place at Wexford Mental Health Assoc. Premises, Henrietta St., Wexford – commences Tuesday, September 19, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Course will include Understand­ing and Caring for your Mental Health; Confidence and Self Esteem. BALLYCOGLE­Y PLAYERS

Our three act Festival Director; Breda Hayes has announced her play for next year’s circuit. ‘The Night Alive’ by Conor McPherson is the chosen play and the cast is as follows: Chris Maddock as Tommy, Seán Carthy as Doc, Colm Doyle as Kenneth, Con Doyle as Maurice and Trish Boyce as Aimee.
