THE HARD WORK WAS WORTH IT!
PROUD STUDENTS from Selskar College received certificates in a range of sectors when the college recently held its PLC Graduation at the Riverbank House Hotel.
The 80 students received awards in subjects including art, craft & design, graphic design, business studies, business & administration, pre-third level, tourism & hospitality, childcare, nursing studies, healthcare and social studies.
The evening commenced with a drinks reception, followed by the ceremony for the presentation of certificates.
Principal Eimear Ryan commended the students on their achievements after a hard year’s work and spoke to them encouragingly of their future paths.
Deputy principal Peter Nagle presented certificates to the students.
There was a lot of catching up and chats between students and tutors, and after the ceremony people stayed for some finger food and music.
