COMMUNITY LOTTO

There was no winner of last week’s jackpot of €10,800. The winning numbers were 2, 13, 16 and 27. There were two matchthree winners who received €100 each. The winners were Anita Mowatt and Larry Byrne. The next lotto draw will be held on Tuesday, May 15, and the jackpot now stands at €11,000.

MUSIC FESTIVAL TICKETS

South East Music Festival is pleased to announce that tickets for our 2018 festival are currently on sale in the following local outlets: Rathangan hall, The Cenacle, John Sinnott and Martina Furlong. The tickets are an ideal present for family and friends.

LITTLE BREECHES

Little Breeches Preschool and Montessori, Rathangan, are now taking bookings for September 2018. Little Breeches is a sessional service that provides care and education for children aged between 2.5 years and six years. INFORMATIO­N NIGHT

There will be a public informatio­n night on safety in the home/ crime prevention and Community Text Alert/Neighbourh­ood Watch hosted jointly by Muintir na Tire and An Garda Síochána in Cleariesto­wn Community Centre on Tuesday, May 15, at 8 p.m. – everyone welcome.

MCCALL’S COTTAGES

The Mass of celebratio­n and the blessing of the cottages will take place on Friday, May 18, at 7 p.m. It will take place in the front garden, weather permitting. Music, tea and refreshmen­ts afterwards.

CLOTHING COLLECTION

Cleariesto­wn Community Playgroup will be having a Fundraisin­g used clothing collection on Monday, May 21. Please donate all your clean unwanted clothes also bed linen, towels, curtains, shoes, bags, belts and soft toys. Old mobile phones will also be accepted. You can drop off any items at the playschool any weekday morning between 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. All proceeds from this collection and previous one will go directly to the parish council to help with the running costs of our playroom within the community centre. CÚL CAMP 2018

This year’s Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp for both boys and girls covering Football, Hurling and camogie will take place in St Anne’s GAA Club Grounds from Monday, July 16, to Friday, July 20. Children will get to learn GAA games from qualified coaches in a safe and fun environmen­t. Children from six to 13 years. Cost of Cúl Camp this year is as follows: First Child €60, second Child €50, third child and subsequent children €40 each. To celebrate the return of this summer’s Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps, Kellogg’s are giving you the chance to win €100 to spend on sports gear every day. Everyone, who registers for a Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp can enter the competitio­n. To enter, pick up a promotiona­l pack of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes or Rice Krispies in stores. Table quiz Friday, May 18, at 9 p.m. at the Wheelhouse Bar Baldwinsto­wn to raise funds for repairs and improvemen­ts to Baldwinsto­wn Community Hall.
