IF DRAMA and music is the thing in your house, or you just want to give it a try, check out Innovations Theatre School. Whether your child is a complete beginner or a seasoned performer, their weekly classes in dancing, acting and singing will help them to grow in confidence and creativity. The long-established school has branches in Arklow and Gorey, with a great track record of nurturing students of all abilities and putting on spectacular productions. This year’s big show is ‘Into the Labyrinth’ inspired by the classic 80s fantasy movie. All students from both schools will take to the Gorey Little Theatre stage at the end of the year, as well as in other smaller performances at other times.

Innovations teachers have strong local ties and international performing experience: Laura Kitt in dance, Chris Currid in drama and Amy Penston singing.

Entrance is by informal audition on Saturday September 1st – this is designed to meet the student and to introduce them and their families to the school. Classes start in Arklow the following Wednesday from 5-7pm and in Gorey on Saturday 8th from 10-12 and 12-2, depending on age. Open to ages 5-18, with all classes in age groups. Generous family discounts are available

To book your audition, or for more information, contact 087 1364219 or 086 3442916 or check out the Innovations Theatre School website and Facebook page.
