Last Friday evening was a very exciting evening for all our Nursery Children, who received their Certificates for participation in our Nursery Programme over the summer months. Over 25 children have taken part In Fundamental Skills, fun and games every Friday and they have enjoyed the programme immensely.

We had the pleasure and honour of Deirdre Duke, to present the Certificates, an inspirational young lady who was a member of the amazing Irish Hockey team who won a silver medal in the World Cup Finals in July. We would like to give Deirdre a huge thank you for taking time out of her busy schedule to present the certificates as she is going to play hockey professionally with Dusseldorf in the next week or so and we would like to wish her all the best for the future. Deirdre is a first cousin of Gareth Sinnott, who plays with our senior hurlers and because of that, we were delighted when she accepted the invitation to present the certificates.

We would also like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to all the parents/guardians/helpers who assisted with the Nursery in any way during the past few months, it is hugely appreciated and especially to Eileen Codd and Eveleen O’Sullivan. Without all of you, it could not have continued. Well done to all of you. A very enjoyable evening was had by all with refreshments served by the camogie and Coiste na nÓg committee and lots of photographs taken. EXAM RESULTS
