PILGRIMAGE

Our Pilgrimage season is continuing with great numbers of pillgrims attending. It continues with Mass at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. every day. Eucharisti­c Holy Hour every Tuesday and Thursday from 5.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. Healing with blessing of Oils after 3 p.m.

This Wedneday, August 29 at 8 p.m. Mass we will have speaker Francesca Browne (Author). Sunday wnd September at 3 p.m. Guest speaker is Prusina Claudia a guide from Medjugorje. Monday, September 3, Ecumenical Service. Wednesday, September 5, ‘A Time to Heal’.

Please note that the Closing Ceremony is moved to Sunday, September 9, witrh Mass at 7 p.m. followed by Torchlight Procession.

GAA LOTTO

Once again the jackpot keeps growing. Tonight’s draw offers €13,800 After no jackpot or match-three winners. Numbers drawn were 2, 3, 24 and 28. Tickets available locally for €1.50 each or a 10 block ticket for €15 to ensure you never miss a draw.

GAA BINGO

The GAA bingo continues every Tuesday at 9 p.m. in Butlers. This week’s jackpot is €675. Why not bring the kids along too with half books available.

SPLIT-THE-POT

Congratula­tions to Mary Foley, Kilmuckrid­ge on winning €175 in last week’s split-the-pot draw.

Draw takes place in the community centre on Sundays after Mass.

BALLYCOGLE­Y PLAYERS

A reminder that our AGM will take place on Thursday, August 30, at 7.45 p.m. in Tomhaggard Social Centre. A cheque presentati­on to the Rape Crisis Centre will also take place prior to the meeting. Looking forward to a good attendance on the night.

JUNIOR A FOOTBALL

Round five of the championsh­ip is scheduled for this Friday evening against St Anne’s in Carne pitch. Throw in is at 7 p.m. so please do come along and lend your support.

Storytelli­ng Night in Tacumshane Old School, this Friday, September 7, at 8.30 p.m. Come along, sit back and enjoy the talent, music, song and storytelli­ng. Tea, coffee and cakes at interval. A geat night’s entertainm­ent is promised.
