Char­ity din­ner for lo­cal Hospice

A CHAR­ITY din­ner, aimed at rais­ing funds for Wex­ford Hospice Home­care and the Ir­ish Hospice Foun­da­tion, will take place in La Côte restau­rant on Sun­day, Septem­ber 16.

The spe­cial six-course tast­ing menu will be pre­pared by head chef and restau­rant owner Paul Hynes, and his friend and former col­league Arnold Jose.

The event is a trib­ute to Arnie’s close friend Frank Fin­nu­cane who sadly passed away af­ter a long fought bat­tle with spinal can­cer, at the age of 39.

Run by hus­band and wife, Paul and Ed­wina, the award-win­ning restau­rant has be­come a firm favourite with Wex­ford din­ers and vis­i­tors alike.

Tick­ets for the event are €85 with all pro­ceeds go­ing to Wex­ford Hospice Home­care.

Paul and Ed­wina said: ‘This char­ity din­ner is about rais­ing money for an in­cred­i­ble foun­da­tion who has helped so many and re­mem­ber­ing Arnie’s amaz­ing friend Frank Fin­nu­cane who is gone but not for­got­ten.’
