On Tuesday, September 11, Mick Doyle will give a talk about home insulation and heating systems. The talk is at 7 p.m. and booking is essential.
On Wednesday, September 12, from 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. a drop-in clinic to help users to get the best from all the e-services in the library will be available.
The university of the Third Age (U3A), a great initiative promoting life long learning, will be launched in the library, Thursday, September 13, between 3.30 and 5 p.m.
Also on Thursday, at 7 p.m. the library is delighted to host the launch of a book by their very own staff member Tina Callaghan. ‘Dark Wood, Dark Water’ is Tina’s debut novel for young adults and contains elements of history, horror and mythology. Tina will be in conversation with library reader in residence, Caroline Busher.
On Friday, September 14, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. the library is also delighted to host the Wexford Men’s Shed book launch. This promises to be a great afternoon of chat and storytelling.
Finally, there will be Children’s Yoga at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 15. Booking essential at 053 9196760.
