On Tues­day, Septem­ber 11, Mick Doyle will give a talk about home in­su­la­tion and heat­ing sys­tems. The talk is at 7 p.m. and book­ing is es­sen­tial.

On Wed­nes­day, Septem­ber 12, from 10.30 a.m. to 1 p.m. a drop-in clinic to help users to get the best from all the e-ser­vices in the library will be avail­able.

The univer­sity of the Third Age (U3A), a great ini­tia­tive pro­mot­ing life long learn­ing, will be launched in the library, Thurs­day, Septem­ber 13, be­tween 3.30 and 5 p.m.

Also on Thurs­day, at 7 p.m. the library is de­lighted to host the launch of a book by their very own staff mem­ber Tina Cal­laghan. ‘Dark Wood, Dark Water’ is Tina’s de­but novel for young adults and con­tains el­e­ments of his­tory, horror and mythol­ogy. Tina will be in con­ver­sa­tion with library reader in res­i­dence, Caro­line Busher.

On Fri­day, Septem­ber 14, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. the library is also de­lighted to host the Wex­ford Men’s Shed book launch. This prom­ises to be a great af­ter­noon of chat and sto­ry­telling.

Fi­nally, there will be Chil­dren’s Yoga at 11 a.m. on Satur­day, Septem­ber 15. Book­ing es­sen­tial at 053 9196760.
