Wexford People - - NEWS -

Gym lovers are preparing to ‘feel the burn’ when they attempt a challenge with a difference on Friday, September 14.

A group at Performance Base Wexford, based in Kerlogue Business Park, are planning to do 24,000 burpees in 24 hours, with all proceeds and donations going to the Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA).

The event starts at 4 p.m. on the Friday and finishes at the same time the following day.

Saturday will also be a family fun day with games for kids, a raffle and a barbecue with food sponsored by Tim’s Chipper and Takeaway.

Members of the IWA will also take part in a row-a-thon from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. that day.

All are welcome to come along and enjoy the festivities or, if feeling brave and fit, to join in.
