WAR­RANT FOR THE AR­REST OF WO­MAN ON BROTHEL CHARGES

THERE was no sign of a 29 year old wo­man due to ap­pear be­fore Wex­ford District Court to meet vice charges.

Hen­ri­ett Hoff­mann, ad­dress given in court pa­per­work as 20 Holly Well, Cromwells­fort Grove, Wex­ford, was rep­re­sented by so­lic­i­tor Tim Cummings who had no clear in­struc­tions. It was al­leged that she di­rected the ac­tiv­i­ties of more than one pros­ti­tute for the pur­poses of or­gan­ised pros­ti­tu­tion. She was fur­ther charged with al­low­ing the top flat at 72 North Main Street in Wex­ford to be used as a brothel.

Mr Cummings told Judge Ger­ard Haughton that the ac­cused had failed to meet him for a le­gal con­sul­ta­tion about the case.

As a re­sult he had no in­struc­tions as to how to re­spond to the pros­e­cu­tion.

A war­rant was is­sued for Ms Hoff­mann’s ar­rest af­ter the so­lic­i­tor con­firmed that she was not present.
