WARRANT FOR THE ARREST OF WOMAN ON BROTHEL CHARGES
THERE was no sign of a 29 year old woman due to appear before Wexford District Court to meet vice charges.
Henriett Hoffmann, address given in court paperwork as 20 Holly Well, Cromwellsfort Grove, Wexford, was represented by solicitor Tim Cummings who had no clear instructions. It was alleged that she directed the activities of more than one prostitute for the purposes of organised prostitution. She was further charged with allowing the top flat at 72 North Main Street in Wexford to be used as a brothel.
Mr Cummings told Judge Gerard Haughton that the accused had failed to meet him for a legal consultation about the case.
As a result he had no instructions as to how to respond to the prosecution.
A warrant was issued for Ms Hoffmann’s arrest after the solicitor confirmed that she was not present.
