Cham­ber urg­ing busi­nesses to mark Sum­mit into diaries

THE COUNT­DOWN is on to this year’s Wex­ford Busi­ness Sum­mit which takes place on Oc­to­ber 3 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wex­ford County Coun­cil.

The event is tak­ing an in­ter­ac­tive ap­proach this year that fo­cuses si­mul­ta­ne­ously on help­ing to di­rectly ex­pand busi­ness op­por­tu­ni­ties and im­prove bot­tom line per­for­mance. The #WexBizSum­mit is spon­sored by Zurich In­sur­ance, in part­ner­ship with the Sun­day Busi­ness Post, LEO Wex­ford, the EPA and Wex­ford County Coun­cil.

An panel of speak­ers will out­line their ex­pe­ri­ence of life in busi­ness.

Paddy Power will dis­cuss ‘30 years of mis­chief, mis­takes and things they don’t teach you in mar­ket­ing school’.

The Google Garage will help peo­ple to un­der­stand the se­crets to en­gag­ing on­line ad­ver­tis­ing and analysing data, while food com­pany Fla­ha­van’s will out­line how be­ing green gave them an edge.

The sum­mit is ex­pected to at­tract up to a thou­sand guests and show­case over 70 ex­hi­bi­tion stands from a broad range of busi­ness sec­tors.

In ad­di­tion to that, there will be op­por­tu­ni­ties to pitch your busi­ness idea to large multi­na­tional or­gan­i­sa­tions in the Meet the Buyer cor­ner; get in­vest­ment through the An­gel’s Den; or take a stand for your busi­ness.
