The stories in the book touch on a wide range of topics and will take readers from trips to strawberry fields and the Passage East car ferry to the bogs of Offaly and Ballinaboola.

Silver Thread was founded in Spring 2017 by Dr Cathy Fowley and Carmel Conroy and is aimed at encouraging older people to tell their stories and to publish them as part of their legacy.
