Scope for another 151 houses in three new applications
THE DEVELOPMENT rush in Wexford is continuing as three more developers, with designs on building another 151 houses collectively, have given notice of their intention to apply for planning permission.
The proposed developments are in Castlebridge, Whiterock South, and Coolcotts.
J & M Dockrell Enterprise and Sons Ltd intend to apply for permission for an 18-house development of semi detached houses at Ballytramon, Castlebridge.
The plan consists of 12 two-storey, three-bedroom house, and six two-storey, four-bedroom houses, with access, parking, landscape and communal, public open spaces and all associated works.
Adamar Developments Ltd have voiced their intention to apply for permission for 98 dwellings within Phase 3 of Ard Uisce at Whiterock South.
This will include 12 two-storey, two-bedroom, semi-detached units; 60 two-storey, three-bedroom, semi-detached houses; 18 two-storey, four-bedroom semi-detached units; eight single-storey three-bed detached dwellings, and one detached single-storey crèche/childcare facility, and all associated works.
Finally, Oakville Homes intend to apply for a first phase development of 35 dwellings consisting of ten two-bed units and 25 three-bed units, with associated site works.
The application also makes provision for improvements to the junction between the entrance to Ard Na Dara and the Clonard Road. The development is planned for a site in Coolcotts.
