Gardai administer CPR to young woman in unresponsive state
A YOUNG WOMAN remains in a serious condition in Wexford General Hospital after being found in an unresponsive state in a laneway off South Main Street last Wednesday night.
The woman, who is in her early 30s, was discovered by passers-by and the Gardai were alerted at around 7 p.m. She was found on Man’s Lane, which links South Main Street to St Mary’s Lane.
Two young Gardai attended the scene where they administered CPR to the woman for 20 minutes until the ambulance arrived. Insp. Denis Whelan commended both gardai for their efforts.
The woman was transferred to Wexford General Hospital where she is understood to be in a serious condition.
