Used phone while driving

A €300 fine for using a mobile phone while driving was imposed on Magdalena Zarobczynska (40), 1 Slaney Lodge, Crossabeg, at the District Court.

The offence was detected by a member of the garda traffic corps at Ferrycarrig on February 12.

The matter was dealt with by the court after a postal fine was not paid by Ms Zarobczynska who was not present for the brief hearing.
