Respect for ’68 camogie team

A call was made for the All Ireland winning 1968 Wexford camogie team to be treated with the same respect as the men’s hurlers by awarding them with a special reception. Cllr Lisa McDonald started by praising the St Martin’s ladies team on their success, before calling for a civic reception for the ladies camogie team of 1968. Chairman Cllr Keith Doyle said he has spoken to the Wexford GAA, adding ‘it’s in hand’.
