Wexford and beyond

AN exhibition of watercolours of ‘Wexford and Beyond’ by Barry Lynch and Kevin Lewis, will be held in the Members’ Gallery in Wexford Golf Club from October 20 to October 28.

Originally from Drogheda, Barry moved to Wexford in 1991 and began working in watercolour.

A member of South East Plein Air, he is constantly on the lookout for inspiration from landscape, seascape, urban and rural subjects.

However, his favourite subject is horses and he very much enjoys painting equestrian scenes.

Well-known Wexford artist Kevin Lewis has a penchant for buildings and boats. Has has had several solo exhibitions during Wexford Festival and has also participated in several group shows at various venues.

Also a member of South East Plein Air, his paintings feature in many private collections and can also be viewed regularly at the Collins/ Grant gallery in Rowe Street.
