Angela was much-loved wife, mother and gran
THERE WAS great shock and sadness at the passing of Angela Sinnott (nee Stanners) of Cleariestown. She sadly passed away on September 16, 2018.
She was a much loved wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Born on July 4, 1944, she lived in Kilmannon where she went to school and completed the school certificate. She married the love of her life John Sinnott on September 23, 1972 and moved to Gortins Great, Cleariestown.
Angela worked in McCarthy’s Bar in Murrintown and Finewool in Wexford town before taking on taking on her most cherished role - that of a mother. She had four children John, Anne Marie, Martin (RIP), and Noeleen. She loved her Irish music and the children were brought up learning Irish dancing and competing in any Feis going.
Angela had a strong faith and helped out with all church events for over 20 years. She enjoyed attending daily mass and setting up for Adoration every Thursday. She spent time on the Parish Council, helping out for all events such as field days and Christmas parties.
Angela is survived by her husband John, son John, and daughters Anne Marie and Noeleen, her sister Mag, grandchildren Rose and Jack, and extended family and friends. The family expressed their thanks to all relatives, neighbours and friends for their sympathies, the Caredoc for their ass istance, and Fr Kevin Cahill, Fr Jimmy Ryan, Fr Matt Boggan and Fr Hugh O’Byrne for their support and celebrating Angela’s funeral.
‘Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end; they simply mean I’ll miss you, until we meet again.’
