Three bur­glar­ies

GAR­DAI ARE in­ves­ti­gat­ing a num­ber of bur­glar­ies which oc­curred over the past week and are ap­peal­ing for wit­nesses in each case.

On Thurs­day night, a home­owner in The Ram­blings in Pierces­town ar­rived home to find the rooms in their house had been ri­fled through. The break-in is be­lieved to have taken place be­tween 6 and 7 p.m.

On Satur­day night, be­tween 7 and 11 p.m. a house at Grange Mór, Ross­lare Strand was bro­ken into. The per­son gained ac­cess by us­ing a rock to break the glass in a door. They pro­ceeded to go through presses and shelves but is un­clear what, if any­thing, was taken.

On Satur­day night, be­tween 6 and 10 p.m. a house at Gur­teen Lodge, Rose­town, Ross­lare Strand was bro­ken into and jew­ellery was taken. It is be­lieved the per­son gained en­try through an open bath­room win­dow.
